RISE - Research and Innovation Staff Exchange

The participants propose a joint research and innovation project as the common basis for their collaboration.

The objective of the program is transfer of knowledge and enhancing skills and expertise of the staff seconded. Transfer of knowledge can be either across different sectors (industry/academy) or between Europe and third countries.

Staff members – researchers, administrative, technical and managerial staff supporting the research and innovation activities of the project - can be seconded to beneficiaries and/or partner organisations, from a minimum of 1 month to a maximum of 12 months.

Mobility rule applies to seconded staff. No nationality restriction.

A staff exchange programme can receive RISE support for a period of 24-48 months. The maximum duration of the individual staff exchanges will be 12 months, maximum 540 man moths per project.

This progrgram typically invloves 4-6 organisations from the EU/associated countries and third countries and/or from both the academic and non-academic sector (in particular SMEs).
