The individual fellowship (IF) takes two forms:
European Fellowships – mobility from any country to Europe and within Europe. Duration 12-24 month
Global Fellowships – mobility out of Europe. Duration 12-24 month plus 12 months mandatory return phase.
Proposals should contain concrete plan of training-through-research at the host organization’s premises and a career development plan.
Eligibility:
1) PhD
2) A. IF regular program - Researchers shall not have resided or carried out their main activity in the country of their host organization for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to deadline.
or
B. Reintegration Panel - Researchers shall not have resided or carried out their main activity in the country of their host organization for more than 3 years in the 5 years prior to deadline.
1) PhD
2) A. IF regular program - Researchers shall not have resided or carried out their main activity in the country of their host organization for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to deadline.
or
B. Reintegration Panel - Researchers shall not have resided or carried out their main activity in the country of their host organization for more than 3 years in the 5 years prior to deadline.
Amount: 4,650 EUR Living allowance + 600 EUR Mobility allowance, 500 EUR Family allowance per month for the duration of the project.
Please note: the money is mainly intended for the applicant's salary.
This fellowship is suitable for:
- PIs wishing to go on a sabatical leave or invite another PI for a sabatical leave
- students towards the end of their Ph.D., wishing to apply for a postdoc
- PIs wishing to recruit a post-doc
- newly recruited PIs
- Early stage post-docs
